Day 1: City Tour of Dakar
After breakfast will start the day after by an excursion around this peninsula, named Dakar
From Independence Place to the presidential house than the main cathedral before continuing by a seafront, drive towards Soumbedioune market, and the mosque de la revelation.
The tour of Dakar will show you the contrasts between some upscale residential areas and other popular neighborhoods.
We will also visit tourist hotspots like Kermel or Sandaga market. Continue to other highlights of the city like the African Renaissance Monument and the Museum of black civilization.
In the afternoon after 20 minutes ferry ride to visit the charming famous Goree Island a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Explore the flowered streets of the historical island, taking a baobab-lined path up to the headland from where you can enjoy an amazing view over the bay of Dakar.
A lecture by the curator in this last slave's house to know about the captive's life and to observe the “Door of No Return” through which millions of Africans passed on the way to slavery in the Americas.
Visit Goree and cruise back to Dakar overnight.
Day 2: Dakar – Tortoise Village – Pink Lake
After breakfast, we will leave for the tortoise village in the North of Dakar
This turtle protection center located in the special botanical reserve of Noflaye is dedicated to the preservation and reproduction of turtles.
This sanctuary offers the possibility of discovering dozens of species of Senegalese and African turtles, from tiny babies, freshly born, to giant turtles weighing more than 100 kg and being able to live up to 150 years, such as the Geochelone Sulcata
Once out from this Park, let us drive straight to Retba Lake.

Day 3: Dakar Sightseeing – Lompoul Désert
Today before checking out of Dakar, we will have a free morning for shopping or just for sightseeing.
Lunch will behold in a family and then route to the desert of Lompoul.
03 hours on the way, then we will arrive at the gates of the Desert.
Nestled between the Eucalyptus forest and the Atlantic Ocean, Lompoul is a magnificent desert of yellow and pink sandy dunes.
We will stop at the Fulani village to change locomotion means, and be transported to the camp inside the desert by some pickups.
Covering an area of 18 sq km, we will enjoy the sunset by a camel ride through the dunes, and then attend to a folkloric Djembe performance and dance, followed by a Diner
Overnight in the Desert
Day 4: Lompoul – Saly
Sunrise in the desert then breakfast, various activities will be offered to you, before leaving for the beach for our picnic.
We will settle on the main coast, facing the Atlantic to experience these moments of relaxation before driving to the seaside resort in Saly
